These socks feature knit-and-purl stitches that form a chequered pattern.

The socks are knitted top down. You will knit them according to your foot and leg measurements. I cast on 64 stitches for 37 - 38 size. The stitch pattern also works with 48, 56 or 72 stitches.

The instructions are written for DPNs but you can use a magic loop instead, if you prefer.
