ABOUT THE PATTERN
The Orange Trousers are worked from the top down on circular needles.
Start your work with a provisional cast-on, then work the elastic waistband in the round in stockinette stitch , then work the body
in net stitch until the legs separation, then work the legs in the round in net stitch.

Circular needles 2.5 mm 80 cm
Circular needles 3 mm 80 cm
Circular needles 5 mm 80 cm
Crochet 4 mm (provisional cast-on)
Elastic band: approx. 3 cm
Tapestry needle

GAUGE
As the gauge is a bit tricky to measure on net stitch, the gauge is indicated on in stockinette stitch.
26 stitches x 35 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch, on needle size 3 mm.
Make a swatch to achieve the same gauge as indicated above. Needle size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on
10 cm = 4”, change to a larger needle size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller needle size.
