The Orbital Jumper is a striped, two-textured jumper with an oversized, cropped body and raglan balloon-shaped sleeves. It is knitted in the round in one piece. This pattern is great for all levels of knitters, from beginners to advanced knitters.

6mm US 10 circular needles (40, 50 or 60cm cable cord length)
10mm US 15 circular needles (50, 60 or 80cm cable cord length)

Gauge (after blocking):
(Please note that this jumper is not gauge sensitive and you can make one with a different gauge depending on your preferences!)
In stockinette stitch (using 10mm US 15 needles with DK/Aran weight yarn): 10 sts / 14 rows for every 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches
In stockinette stitch (using 10mm US 15 needles with Lace weight yarn): 14 sts / 10 rows for every 10 x 10 cm 4 x 4 inches

Materials:
The jumper is worked using one strand of any DK/Aran weight yarn - (8/10ply 8-11wpi) and then one (or two) strand(s) of any Lace weight yarn - 2ply.

Yarn A (DK/Aran weight yarn) - 100 (100) 100 (100) 150 (150) 150 (200) 200g of 50g/116m. Shown in Wool and the Gang Sugar Baby Alpaca in colour ‘Rusty Orange’.

Yarn B (Lace weight yarn) - 25 (25) 25 (25) 25 (50) 50 (75) 75g of 25g/210m. Shown in Drops Design Kid Silk in colour ‘Chocolate’.

If you choose to use two strands of Lace weight yarn you will need 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (50) 50 (75) 75g of 25g/210m.
