Orchard Pullover
Keep cozy as the weather cools off in the Celtic vines of the Orchard Pullover. This short-sleeved sweater is perfect for layering over a long-sleeved t-shirt. The oversized collar can be buttoned up and worn folded-over, or unbuttoned and worn flat. Cabled cuffs finish off the slightly-puffed sleeves and run up the edges of the collar to pull the whole look together.
This pattern is written for chest sizes 31” (34”, 37”, 40”, 43”, 46”, 49”, 52”, 55”)“ (measuring around the fullest part of the bust), intended to fit with as little ease as possible at the bust, a few inches of positive ease at the waist and very little ease at the hip. Waist, hip, and many other measurements are given in the schematic to make modifications easier if you tend to change the fit of patterns to better suit your figure. This sweater is worked from the bottom-up and features set-in sleeves that are knit directly onto the body from stitches picked-up at the armholes.
Written for the intermediate knitter (someone who is comfortable with basic knitting techniques, has worked cables before, and who has already knit a sweater or two), this pattern includes the following skills:
Cables (Charted and Written Instructions offered)

When you download the pattern through Ravelry, there will be two files to choose from. The “Orchard Pullover Large File” is an 8MB file with very sharp resolution. The “Orchard Pullover” file is a 1MB file that has been compressed, so the photos and chart will be slightly blurrier than in the larger file size.
****Errata********
The collar button hole rows give a ribbing repeat of (P2, K2)(RS), and(K2, P2)(WS). The ribbing repeat should remain (P2, K4)(RS), and (K2, P4)(WS), just as it instructs in the “Main Collar Repeat” section.
