Orchid Damask is a circular-yoked sweater worked from the top down, featuring a colorwork yoke and a lace hem that mirrors the orchid yoke design. It can be worked with short, ¾, or long sleeves, and incorporates short rows to elevate the back neckline for best fit. The lace is optional but fun to work if you enjoy complex lace!

As it is top-down, this sweater can have sleeves of any length you wish. Noro Sonata is a summer-weight yarn, so I opted for 3/4 length sleeves, but this sweater could also be worked in sport-weight wool or fingering weight, and long sleeves for a winter garment.
