This hat was created as an exploration of a new-to-me yarn. The colorwork motif reminds me of the gracefully curving petals of some orchid blossoms.
Knit in a beautiful worsted-weight blend of extra fine Merino wool and baby alpaca, this hat will keep you toasty when the temperatures drop.

Size 6 US / 4 mm 16” / 40 cm circular needle and set of 4 double-pointed needles or needles in preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round.
Adjust needle size of necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge
22 sts and 28 rnds = 4” / 10 cm over charted colorwork pattern.
