This pretty cowl both starts and finishes with picot edgings to add a further feminine touch to the leaf lace pattern. The cowl is worked in the round from the bottom edge up, working up quickly in DK weight yarn.

The pattern offers both charted and fully-written instructions (you do not need to follow a chart to work this design).

You will need: 200 yards (183m) DK weight yarn, 4.5mm (US7) needles for working in the round, a stitch marker and a darning needle

You need to be able to: work in the round, work picot edgings (instructions given in pattern), work lace from either written or charted instructions
