This simple true size cardigan with a hood and large pockets is slightly “A” shaped. The pattern is simple, suitable even for beginners. It is mostly crocheted with double crochet stitches. Front panels, the back and the sleeves are worked separately, from the bottom up. Two pockets are also created separately and sewn onto the front panels. All finished parts are then sewn together and the hood is crocheted directly onto the sewn sweater. Finally the edging with eyelets for fastening buttons is worked around the front panels and the hood. Ideal also as stash busting project. Aran/afgan yarn with low twist or single ply is recommended for this cardigan.
