This design is all about the interesting surface texture, which is created with simple slipped stitches and basic yarn overs. It is worked in a super soft merino yarn and a fun-to-knit stitch pattern, reminiscent of tree bark texture.

The Oren set of accessories knits up quickly in worsted or Aran weight yarn, and is appropriate for men and women. The size of both, the hat and the cowl, is easy to customize thanks to the small pattern repeat, so the pieces can be made to fit anyone, from a small child to a large adult.
