Designer notes

Knitting is a good way of using up odd lengths of fabric. Here organza fabric has been combined with yarn to create a blind, which can either be made into a Roman blind or used as a decorative panel.

Some allowances have been made for differing yarn weights by increasing and decreasing the stitch counts, but the nature of the blind is that lighter weight yarn should be worked on larger needles and heavier weight yarns on smaller needles to create the desired texture. Because one yarn weight affects another, the selvedges won’t be perfectly square.
