This cowl is named for the lovable dwarf in The Hobbit movies, who always is warmly wrapped in assorted knitwear items.

I used the Fibre Co. Organik for this pattern, but any worsted weight yarn that has good stitch definition would work.

You could easily change the look of this cowl by using a different color or different buttons.

No gauge is included as it is not really necessary for this cowl. The construction makes it easy to work it as small or large as you want it to be.
