Original Knitted Tea-Cosy
This pattern is
available for free.
This tea-cosy is very easy to make, even by an inexperienced knitter, as there are no decreasings or increasings - the knitting ls simply two plain pieces, which are afterwards stitched together, and the posy attached. The cosy illustrated was developed in two shades of rose pink, deep and pale, and the posy included flowers of salmon pink, rose pink, deep red. pale blue, white and lemon, the two latter being of teazle wool. The centres were of black and a dot of yellow, and the leaves in two shades of green, sage and apple.
Note: The flowers are not knit, but basic instructions are given for making them - knitting pattern is for the tea cosy only.
