Orla
Orla is the classic cabled vest you’ve been waiting for! Knit in pieces from the bottom up, the beautiful armhole shaping is worked simultaneously with the front and back. A three needle bind off joins the shoulders and cozy folded twisted rib collar finishes it all off.
Donegal-based knitter Kathleen Meehan designed Orla in our Erin, an authentic Donegal heather comprised of 60% fine Irish wool and 40% New Zealand wool, it will last you for years to come.
Worthy of Note
Orla is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up. The armhole ribbing is worked at the same time as the front and back. Once complete, the shoulders are joined and stitches are picked up to work the neck.
