Ormiston
Ormiston is a big blanket wrap that has cables, colour, texture and tassels. A simple and satisfying Intarsia, you will finish up with a warm and soft large wrap for the colder months. Cables are knit up either side of the wrap for an interesting edging. The colour pop and geometric shapes make it an eye-catching neck warmer. The wrap is knit bottom up.
Gotland wool is silky, strong, and makes a fabric that you feel would keep you warm forever. Little Grey Sheep Gotland DK comes from the Surrey/Hampshire border and spun at John Arbon Textiles!
The colours shimmer, dyed over the natural greys of the fibres.
Wind individual bobbins of yarn to make the intarsia more manageable. The results will be stunning: a piece you’ll wear forever.
