Orna Sweater
This top-down, yoked sweater evokes the delicate yet resilient structure of sea urchin shells. The lace and cable patterns mirror the intricate textures found on these shells, capturing the harmony between strength and elegance that the sea embodies.
Crafted using A Verb for Keeping Warm’s Bread & Butter, Everyday Yarn in worsted weight, the Orna Sweater’s design also draws upon the peaceful, grounding qualities of the Midwest’s cool woodlands. The interwoven lacework and cables reflect the intertwining roots and branches of these forests, blending the ocean’s fluidity with the steadfastness of the woods.

THE FIT
The Orna Sweater features a relaxed, easy fit in the body, offering a slightly oversized silhouette that drapes loosely over the torso. In contrast, the sleeves are more fitted, creating a balanced look by tapering snugly around the arms. This combination allows for freedom of movement in the body while maintaining a sleek, tailored appearance in the sleeves, giving the sweater a contemporary, flattering shape.
