Orochi is a cardigan that is knitted top down, without seams. You start by casting on the stitches for the back & a few short rows to form the slope of the shoulders then you knit until you reach the bottom of the armhole. Then, you pick up stitches on the cast-on row to knit the fronts then you join the fronts & the back under the armholes to knit the body. Once the body is finished, pick up stitches along the armholes to knit the sleeves in the round. Finally, we pick up stitches along the front & back to knit the border.

FRANCAIS

Orochi est un cardigan qui se tricote du haut vers le bas, sans coutures. On commence par monter les mailles pour le dos et quelques rangs raccourcis pour former la pente des épaules puis on tricote jusqu’à atteindre le bas de l’emmanchure. Ensuite, on relève des mailles sur le rang de montage pour tricoter les devants puis on rejoint les devants et le dos sous les emmanchures pour tricoter le corps. Une fois le corps terminé, on relève des mailles le long des emmanchures pour tricoter les manches en rond. Enfin, on relève des mailles le long des devants et du dos pour tricoter la bordure.
