These cabled hat and mitts are worked in the round. The hat is completely seamless, but the mitts need to be grafted closed with Kitchener stitch. Most 4ply or 5ply yarns should be suitable.
The hat is lovely and stretchy as the pattern forms a rib effect, so although the hat is sized, it will fit slightly beyond the ages given.
To fit ages Newborn, 3-6 months and 6-12 months. All sizes will take less than one 50g ball of 4ply wool.
