Thanks for considering my Octopus pattern! One thing to keep in mind is that I used 2 different brands of yarn as I was constructing and writing this pattern: Lion Brand and Caron. Both were medium weight 4 yarn, but Lion Brand tends to be thinner than Caron. The parts of the octopus that were made with Lion Brand yarns were written with more rows and stitches than the parts made with Caron in order for the pieces to match up properly. If you use different yarns than I did, your proportions may come out a bit different than mine. Perhaps use a larger or smaller hook in these instances to compensate for the differences in yarn thickness.
