Brave Oscar the Octopus uses his eight tentacles to guard his sunken treasure at the bottom of the sea. Knit a Stockinette square, tentacles, tummy, eyes, and assemble. Beads can be added for eyes, but do not add beads if giving Oscar to a child.

Like all of the cuddly creatures in this book, Oscar can be knit to different sizes by using different yarn weights and gauges. Need it oversized? Use bulky or jumbo yarn. Need it tiny? Try a finer weight. It’s as simple as that.
