Oshawott
Crochet your very own Oshawott, a very cute water-type Pokémon!
This pattern contains 16 pages of step-by-step instructions and photos to help you every step of the way. It is written in English only, using US crochet terms.
I used a 3mm crochet hook and Paintbox Cotton DK yarn.
Oshawott is part of the Pokémon franchise and does not belong to me in any way; they belong to Nintendo.
Materials Needed
- 3mm crochet hook
- Toy/polyester stuffing
- Dressmakers pins
- Embroidery needle
- Stitch markers
- Scissors
Required yarn
- 1 ball of white. I used Paintbox Cotton DK in paper white (50g).
- 1 ball of light blue. I used Paintbox Cotton DK in washed teal (50g).
- 1 ball of navy blue. I used Paintbox Cotton DK in midnight blue (50g).
- A small amount of light yellow. I used Paintbox Cotton DK in daffodil yellow (50g).
- A small amount of brown. I used Paintbox Cotton DK in coffee bean (50g).
- A small amount of mustard/gold. I used Ricorumi in saffron (25g).*
- A small amount of black. I used Paintbox Cotton DK in pure black (50g).*
This is to embroider some of the details. As I was using a cotton yarn, I removed some of the strands to make it a thinner 3 ply yarn instead. If you are crocheting using a wool blend, I would suggest buying embroidery floss instead for these colours.
For the details you can either felt needle these on or glue on felt pieces. (I used felt for the eye and needle felted on the white shine)
- Needle felting tool (if needle felting) or glue/thread (for felt)
- Felt/needle felting wool in white, black.
