Osmanthus Shawl
Named after a flower with deep, sweet and complex fragrance, this shawl is a deeper than the regular crescent shape, with increases in the body of the pattern as well as at the edges.
It can be knit in lace weight or fingering weight yarn, with or without beads. Your gauge is not important, but the finished size of the shawl may vary, depending on your yarn, needles size and blocking.
The shawl size is adjustable, it is possible to make it larger by making more charts’ repeats.
If you choose to have a beaded version, the beads placement is colour coded in the charts.
Huge thanks to all my testers - houndsmum, nervie1900, sanita60, Victoria89rus, zuzon58 with a special mention of invaluable and generous help from JMBonn and cdninswe!
This pattern has charts only. There is an electronic PDF version for tablet users.
