These socks are the first pattern in my collection Östergyllen. The flower in the pattern is cornflower. Cornflower is the landscape flower of Östergötland.
Östergötland is located on the east coast at the Baltic Sea in the middle of Sweden.
There will be four more patterns in this collection, a cowl, half mittens, a beanie and a sweater.

Östergötland has beautiful lakes, large forests and fertile arable land. There are in the fields where the farmers grow different cereals you often find the corn flower.

Östergyllen Socks are worked from cuff to toe. It is knitted in stockinette stitch and have a chart to follow for the flower. The socks are knitted with a reinforced heel flap.
