Ostinato is a musical term used to describe a continually repeated musical phrase or rhythm. I’m borrowing it here to describe the rhythm of the colored blocks that are repeated in a regular pattern across the length of this elegant rectangular Advent wrap.

The main body is knit in simple stamen stitch using 24 colors, creating a subtle texture that allows the carefully curated color story of the Advent set to take center stage.

Yarn:​​ One Barker Wool Advent box containing twenty-four 20g mini skeins and one 100g skein of Fern or approximately 580g of fingering weight yarn in your choice of colors.

Finished Measurements: 77” long x 17” wide

Needles: US size 4 (3.5 mm) needles.

Gauge: 28 STS x 28 rows = 4” x 4” in stamen stitch pattern.
