In ancient Egyptian mythology, ostrich feathers were often associated with the goddess Ma’at, who represented truth, balance, and justice. The feathers were used as symbols of cosmic order and were prominently featured in the headdresses of Egyptian pharaohs and other important figures.

Ostrich plumes cardigan uses a feather and fan variation on the front panels, sleeves and a strip up the back center. The sleeves are knitted separately and added seamlessly with a raglan shoulder detail. The button band is added after the sweater knitting is completed.
