This is called the “Other Side Shawl’, because when you are wearing it and someone comments on how lovely it is, you will say “Look at the Other Side”!

It is made up of two lace panels joined together, and finished with short rows to create a slight crescent shape. It is made to be totally reversible. The top bind off is an I Cord bind off, and the bottom is finished with a Picot edge.

I used colors in Dancing Leaf Dyeworks (formarly Dancing Leaf Farm) new colorway Lipstick. When I showed my daughter she reminded me that these are also Virginia Tech Hokie Colors (How could I forget!!)

I know you’re wondering how hard this is, can you work on it when walking or having some wine? The answer is yes if you plan accordingly. Some parts take more concentration, like the lace work, but even some of those rows are straight purling. When you get to the short rows that shape the crescent you can easily relax with a good movie and glass or 2 of wine.

I have been knitting this nonstop the last few days and have gone through three audiobooks. I just discovered a new author I love, J. M. Darhower and listened to her books Ghosted, Sempre, and Sempre Redemption which are all great!
