When I set out to design a scarf for a Star Wars fan who can recite every line from the original trilogy I knew it had to be a little… extra. • “JOIN THE DARK SIDE” is readable only from the dark side of the scarf
• “MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU” is readable only from the light side.
• The entire scarf is a bit asymmetrical and the spaces between images are not all the same size. This is a nod to George Lucas being the first to create futuristic technology that isn’t perfect, shiny and clean.
• The spaces between the images on the dark side are much larger than on the light side as a nod to the Coruscant’s richest inhabitants showing their wealth with negative space.
