Otsho Octopus is a knit and crochet hybrid that sprung from my curiosity of knitted amigurumis. The name is a typo of otso and ocho meaning eight in Filipino (and in Spanish, too!)

This pattern is knitted in the round in one piece - joining the crochet tentacles as you go. It could be adapted to different weight yarns; the knitting needle size should be a size or two smaller than typical for the yarn so that the fabric is firmly knit. The pattern written for 2 circulars but easily adapted for DPN. Lava and flat shell beads are sewn in as eyes.

combinations for chunky plushie to micro crochet earrings size. Choose what size you want to create!

appx size: 5.00 x 2.50 cm

0.5mm crochet hook
appx size 1.70 x 1.00 cm
