This was a labor of love as I made it for my hubby for his birthday. I used pictures of river otters as my inspiration. I used three colors to make the Otter - impeccable loops and threads in chocolate, light taupe, and heather, but really any brown, light brown, and cream will work. You don’t need a full skein for the light brown and cream, but a full skein for the dark brown is a good idea.

I’ve made an otterly cute otter a couple times now so feel pretty confident in the pattern, but please let me know if you see any typos and thanks for viewing!
