I’d like to present to you a crochet pattern for creating adorable 3-inch toy otters: a mother otter with her 1-inch baby nestled on her belly. This pattern provides step-by-step instructions for crafting a petite pocket companion or a charming keychain suitable for all ages. The resulting toy is incredibly soft and designed with the safety of small children in mind.

Pattern is written for beginner crocheters.
Skills: you’ll need to know how to make magic ring, chain, turn chain, slip stitch, single crochet, increases and decrease.

Materials you’ll need:
1. Cotton yarn:
Weight: Thread, size 10
Meterage: 308 yards(282 meters)
Unit weight: 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
you will need one ball of each color: brown, beige, black(or dark brown)

1. Steel hook 10 USA = 4 UK (1.00 mm)
2. 100% Polyester Fiber Fill for stuffing (~30 grams)
3. Sewing needle
4. Black sewing thin thread
5. Scissors and toothpick
