Oupepe is a triangular shawl knit from the top down. Wider and shallower than classical triangular shawls, its shape is closer to a crescent shawl. The applied i-cord border allows you to carry your yarn along the side, without having to cut it in between sections, which is perfect if you don’t like to weave in to many ends. With its chevrons, stripes, ribbing and other textures, Oupepe is very addictive and you’ll find that it’s hard to put it down!

Yarn A: 1 skein (115 g/416 yards) of Petite face bleue by UrsoYarnCo, “cocos” colorway
Yarn B: 1 skein (100 g/435 yards) of Harvest by Urth, “blueberry” colorway
Yarn C: 1 skein (100 g/400 yards) of Pied Bleu by Bleu poussie?re, “aquamarine” colorway
You can use any fingering weight yarn that you like.
I used around 330 yd (300 m) of each skein.

Oupepe est un cha?le triangulaire qui se tricote du haut vers le bas. E?tant moins profond et plus large que les cha?les triangulaires classiques, sa forme se rapproche pluto?t de celle d’un cha?le en croissant. Sur les co?te?s du cha?le, la bordure i-cord permet de cacher les fils a? l’inte?rieur, sans avoir a? les couper a? chaque section, ce qui est parfait si on n’aime pas rentrer trop de fils! Avec ses chevrons, rayures, co?tes et autres points de fantaisies, Oupepe est un tricot addictif qu’il sera difficile de mettre de co?te?!
