Outa Socks
Outa is a name for a forest in Lapland. These deep green socks with beautiful knitted shapes on them remind me of spruce forests where I love to wonder.
The stitch pattern is easier than it looks and I’ve also made a tutorial video for your help.

(the length of the sock is easily adjustable)
MATERIALS:
Yarn:
231-260 m / 253-284 yards of fingering weight sock yarn.
Sample is knitted with Filcolana Arwetta Classic (80% superwash merino wool 20% nylon, 210 meters / 230 yards per 50 gram).
You need approx. 231-260 meters / 253-284 yards
of fingering weight yarn.
Needles:
US 2 (2.75mm) DPNs or circular needle for Magic Loop knitting.
Adjust the needle size to get the correct gauge.
Other notions:
Stitch marker and tapestry needle.
Note:
The pattern is written for Magic Loop knitting so there are only needles 1 and 2.
GAUGE:
29 stitches and 44 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch (after blocking).
