Outback Poncho
Inspired by the rustic aesthetic of the Australian outback, the Outback Collection features patterns that are perfect for layering with an outfit. The collection includes a poncho (this one you’re looking at), a triangle shawl, a hooded cowl, and a bandana. All of the patterns are Beginner - Intermediate, but they include in depth photo tutorials that guide you through the pattern, no matter what skill level you are.
You can find all of the patterns in the Outback Collection here on my Ravelry store.
This poncho pattern is a one size fits all. It features an optional hood, pocket and cord (that either wraps around the hood, or the neckline if you don’t include a hood).
To make this pattern you will need:
- Weight #3 light/DK yarn (approx. 1439m total) - I used Caron Skinny Cake for the sample shown which is a little on the thinner side for a weight #3
- 5mm crochet hook
- Scissors, tapestry needle, tape measure, stitch markers
Garment has been designed to fit most body sizes
Length (not including hood): 80cm
Width: 95cm
