If you’re a fan of the Starz Outlander series than this is the pattern for you. It’s my interpretation of Claire’s Capelet from episode 104 “The Gathering.”

You’ll need approximately 90-109 yards of bulky yarn. I picked the Álafoss Lopi at my LYS because I liked the look of the heather and the feel of a homespun yarn. I felt both these attributes gave it a more authentic 18th century look and feel.
