Outlander Socks
These cozy, Outlander inspired socks are a collaboration with Gingersnap. Be sure to pop by their shop for sock sets and Outlander inspired project bags!

These socks are constructed cuff down.

Easy stripes build the foundation of our Outlander Tartan section.
Next is some rhythmic and soothing cable knitting. A super simple cable that is easy to memorize after the first repeat.

Once the toe is complete, we revisit the Tartan section and add in our vertical stripes using a crochet hook.

Alternatively, you can work the vertical stripes using the intarsia method!

These socks are knit up in fingering weight yarn, I’ve included THREE different tartan designs, three sizes, and a gusset and heel flap heel construction.

I hope you enjoy my love letter to the Scottish highlands and the Outlander series. I would love to see your socks! Be sure to tag me on instagram so I can share - Carlie
