Outlander Socks
These cozy, Outlander inspired socks are a collaboration with Gingersnap. Be sure to pop by their shop for sock sets and Outlander inspired knitting bags!
These socks are constructed cuff down. We start with ribbing and the horizontal stripes of the Outlander Tartan. This is followed by rhythmic and soothing cable knitting. A super simple cable that is easy to memorize after the first repeat.
Once the toe is complete, we revisit the Tartan section and add in our vertical stripes using a crochet hook.
These socks are knit up in DK weight yarn, so they are ultra cozy and super fast. Testers really enjoyed choosing colours for their socks and some even knit up family tartans!
I hope you enjoy my love letter to the Scottish highlands and the Outlander series. I would love to see your socks! Be sure to tag me on instagram so I can share - Carlie
