Outono is a half circle shawl that gets its shape by using short rows. It has a very elegant and unusual lace edging.

A fast and easy top border is added perpendicular to the body of the shawl.

Skills necessary: lace stitches (decreases, increases and yarn overs), short row, provisional cast on.

This is a fast knitting project that can be modified to become a 3/4 or full circle (NOTE: the 3/4 and full circle options haven’t been tested).
