Note
Sweater body is knit from the top down, first flat and joined in the round after arm shaping is complete. Hem is split and bottom of body is worked flat. Hem is finished by folding over to WS and sewing shut, leaving channels for ties. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round from the top down. Sleeve caps are shaped with short rows. Cuffs are finished by folding over to WS and sewing shut. Neckband is picked up and worked in the round in 2x2 Rib, folded over and sewn shut. Two ties, one short for the front and one long for the back, are knit in 2x2 Rib with a slip stitch selvedge, and inserted into channels at hem.

Note
トップダウンで編むセーター. 最初は往復編みで, 袖ぐりのシェイピング後は輪にして編む. 裾を分け, 身頃の下部は往復編みで編む. 裾はWSに折り返して綴じ, 紐を通す部分を残す. 袖の目を拾い, トップダウンで輪で編むが, 袖山は引き返し編みでシェイピングする. 袖口はWSに折り返して綴じる. 襟は目を拾ったら2目ゴム編みで輪で編み, 折り返して綴じる. 2本の紐 (短い方は前身頃用, 長い方は後ろ身頃用)は端をすべり目で縁取りながら2目ゴム編みで編み, 裾の折り返し部分に通す
