The purse in this pattern begins with a “football” shaped base. Stitches are picked up around the base, and the body of the bag is knit on a circular needle up to the top of the bag. For the BEADED CHAIN version, the top of the handbag is bound off with I-cord. Grommets and chain strap are added after the felting. For the I-CORD STRAP version of the bag, each side is finished separately and an I-cord strap is included.
