This is a fun crochet pattern for making Christmas oval coasters. Most coasters are round or square so this one is unique in its’ shape.

The pattern is perfect for beginners !!

It includes detailed descriptions and a picture for each step, you only need to be familiar with basic crochet stitches for this one :)

Round endings in the pattern are sewn perfectly, you won’t know where they are !!

You can use any colours you like for the coasters; they will be a pretty addition to your home décor, or make them as a gift for someone special.

Size of a coaster is about 5.5 X 4.7 inches (14 X 12 cm).

The pattern includes two PDF files:

1. Detailed step-by-step photo tutorial.
2. File without pictures for printing the pattern.

Both are written in US English terms.
It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Beginner.

A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches is required.

1. Yarn: 100% cotton, Luxor from FibraNatura 50gr/125m. Of course, you can use a different brand with similar weight (the exact amount is detailed in the pattern).
2. Size 2.5mm crochet hook.
3. Scissors.
4. Tapestry needle.
5. Stitch markers (optional).
