This is a fun pattern for crocheting oval coasters. Most coasters are round or square so this one is unique in its’ shape.

The pattern is perfect for beginners !!

It includes detailed descriptions and a picture for each step, you only need to be familiar with basic crochet stitches for this one :)

Round endings in the pattern are sewn perfectly, you won’t know where they are !

You can use different colours as you wish and get a pretty set of mug rugs for your home décor, or make them as a gift for someone special.

Size of a coaster is about 5.9 X 5.3 inches (15 X 13.5 cm).

The pattern includes two PDF files:

1. Detailed step by step instructions and many pictures.
2. File without pictures for printing the pattern.

Both are written in US English terms.
It is a good idea to familiarize yourself with the pattern by following the photo tutorial first.
The printable version is best used when you already know the pattern.

Skill level: Beginner.

A basic knowledge of crochet techniques and stitches is required.

1. Yarn: 100% cotton, Rico Ricorumi DK 25 gr. Of course, you can use a different brand with similar weight (the exact amount required is detailed in the pattern).
2. Size 2.5mm crochet hook.
3. Scissors.
4. Tapestry needle.
5. Stitch markers (optional).
