A pattern that is neat to knit in one piece, and yet you will get a terrific oval shape when finished! Easy “row by row” pattern will give you a nice size placemat, and there are also directions on how to make a mat for the meat platter. This is fun to knit, when you get into it. It is challenging, yet fairly easy to make. We just love these for Holiday table decorating! Finished size is about 11” by 17”, a good size. Platter size will be a bit bigger. Uses worsted weight yarns, US # 9 needles for placemat, # 11 for platter size.
