Oval Tee
I have temporarily disabled this pattern because I want to include additional instructions for alternate neck shaping and sleeve length.
Inspired By the elegance of minimal geometric shapes and an attempt to play with the balance between ‘reveal’ and ‘conceal.’ The back of this tee is dominated by an oval that provides both a reveal to an underlayer as well as a surprise of the unexpected. A buttoned shoulder seam adds additional detail to this design.
Suggested styling: wear over a racerback tank to reveal some skin, a tee, a longer-sleeved top, swimwear, etc.
This garment is a casual, spring/summer tee that is knit flat and seamed. The ribbing around the collar and back oval are picked up after seaming. The shoulder button band is also picked up after seaming and requires six buttons. The fit has ease so that the tee is not fitted and can be layered.
