Oven Mitt
A free version is also available.
A waffle stitch single oven mitt or pot holder made from 100% cotton. The thickness of the waffle stitch does a perfect job at protecting hands from hot surfaces. Make two to use on oven trays etc using both hands.
Free pattern available at http://burgundyandblush.co.uk/oven-mitt-crochet-pattern/
Materials
• 1 skein Lily Sugar n Cream (or a worsted/Aran weight yarn)
• 5.0mm hook
• Scissors and needle for finishing
Concentration level – Quite simple if comfortable with waffle stitch. The stitch is explained in the pattern steps, but a video might be helpful for the front post double crochet if this is a new stitch.
