Over the River Casserole Carrier was made to fit an Anchor Glass 2 qt Casserole dish. The carrier measures 4” High X 8.25” across bottom, excluding handles. These are a must have for the holidays. Use them for yourself or make as gifts. I just recently purchased the dish at Walmart (October 2010) for $7.00. The inner drawstring closure keeps the lid in place nicely. It folds to the front to easily put your dish in the carrier and for serving. Not going anywhere? Just fold it to the inside. Put the dish on top, carry to the table and keep those second helpings warm. Two hooks are listed but only one is used to make the actual carrier. The smaller J hook is only used to make the drawstring. Carrier is quick to work up using two strands of yarn, Matching trivet instructions included. The ombre yarn used is Red Heart Super Saver in “Fall”. Make on in Thanksgiving colors and another in Christmas colors.
