Sizes: 1 (2, 3)
Hand circumference: 18 (20.5, 23) cm / 7 (8, 9)” at widest point
Model wears size 1
Yarn: Quince & Co. Finch (4ply / fingering weight; 100% wool, 200 m / 221 yds per 50 g skein)
Shade: Poppy; 1 (1, 2) skeins
Gauge: 28 sts & 40 rows = 10 cm / 4” over stocking stitch on 2.75 mm needles after blocking
Needles: 2.75 mm / US 2 knitting needles suitable for working small circumferences in the round
NOTE: This pattern is written for the magic loop method using a long circular needle – if using DPNs, ‘Needle 1’ will be DPNs 1 and 2, ‘Needle 2’ will be DPNs 3 and 4.
Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 3 stitch markers (1 unique for beginning of round), 2 locking stitch markers, stitch holder or scrap yarn, spare needle in similar size for picking up stitches, 2 buttons
