I love the decrease on this hat, and it would look fab with or without a pompom.

I made it with Katia Twisted Paint. The hat + pompom used about half a cake.

6mm needles. 40cm circular + DPNS or just DPNS if you prefer. 5 Stitch markers.

One key thing to remember is the main hat pattern goes in 15 stitch repeats. So the last round of ribbing you need to purl the last two stitches together which will take you down from 76 stitches to 75 stitches. This is really important.
