I created this alphabet initially for my Classic Horror series as I needed something with an old world feel, sort of creepy but beautiful. It ended up having a really Victorian “Dickens-esque” look so I figured it would be great to use for similar banners for the holidays as well, and one thing led to another, until I pretty much had charted out most of the letters. Plus I was getting requests to create other sayings so I figured if I just release the full alphabet, then anyone can customize their own projects as they see fit!

Perfect for adding a loved one or pet’s name to a project, or your favorite saying for table runners & wall hangings. Or use the upper case to form monograms. The possibilities are endless!

This pattern includes charts for both the upper case & lower case alphabet, along with numbers 0-9, with all the X’s marked. There are general instructions on the overlay mosaic crochet technique as well, however becasue everyone will be using these letters in their own custom way, I didn’t include any written row by row instructions.

The general instructions use US terms however the chart is universal!
