Gauge: needles №10 (per 10 cm/4”): 7 stitches (sts) by 10 rows in stockinette; needles №8 (per 10 cm/4”): 10 stitches (sts) by 17 rows in stockinette
(make sure to knit & block the swatch. If you are a tight knitter – have more stitches & rows than required – take thicker needles and vice versa)
