Size guide:
The vest is designed to have approx. 15 cm (6 inches) of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 15 cm (6 inches) larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The fit is oversized. The sizes S-M (L) XL are designed to fit a bust circumference of 85-94 cm (95 -105cm) 106-116 cm / 33 ½ -37 inches (37 ½ -41 inches) 42-46 inches.
Bust circumference of the finished item:
100 cm /39 inches (115cm / 45 inches) 130 cm / 51 inches.
Length:
Front: 56 cm / 22 inches (63cm / 25 inches) 70 cm / 27,5 inches
Back: 60 cm / 23 ½ inches (66 cm / 26 inches) 74 cm / 29 inches
Gauge:
12 sts x 15 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches) in stockinette stitch after washing and blocking. The swatch is made with 7 mm (US 10 ½) knitting needles. If your gauge doesn’t match the indicated, try going up or down one needle size. It is important to obtain the indicated gauge so that the ready-made item has correct proportions.
Needles:
Circular needles: 5mm (US 8) recommended 60cm (24 inches) for working the neckband and armbands. Those parts are worked in the round.
A pair of straight needles 7mm (US 10 ½) or circular needles 7mm (US 10 ½ ) 60 or 80 cm (24 or 32 inches).

Materials:
500 (600) 700 gr / 600 (700) 800 yds of аny chunky yarn, the needed needle size is indicated on the yarn label. Also, you can use any worsted weight yarn (the indicated needle size on the label should be 4.5 mm (US 7). You will have to double the thread to gain thickness suitable for 7 mm (US 10 ½) knitting needle and obtain the indicated gauge.
Introduction to the workflow:
The vest is worked from bottom upwards in two separate pieces: front and back. Then the parts are sewn together along the sides using mattress stitch. The shoulder seams are sewn with horizontal stockinette seam. Armholes and neckline are framed with 1x1 ribbing.
