Oversized Cowl
by Ann E. Smith
Worked in textured double crochet throughout, Smith’s oversize cowl drapes sumptuously whether worn long or doubled. Back-post double crochet stitches, worked intermittently in every other row, create ridged perforations throughout the fabric. Crocheted lengthwise, it evokes a winter landscape with the grayscale, olive, brown and sapphire tones of Taiyo Sock color way #22.
